Hannibal IP LLC (HIP) announced today that it has obtained a key 5G patent in India. The Indian Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks issued Indian Patent number 505116 to HIP. The patent titled "METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR LBT FAILURE DETECTION" relates to cutting edge 5G wireless technologies.
Previously, Hannibal IP LLC, a Longhorn IP affiliate, acquired a portfolio of patents related to 5G Wireless Technologies. The patents in the patent portfolio are LTE and 5G standard patents which means that the patents satisfy communication technologies written in LTE standard and 5G standard.
