Katana Silicon Technologies LLC (KST) announced today that it has filed a patent infringement complaint in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas on April 19, 2021, against Western Digital Technologies, Inc. (WDTI). The case number is 6:21-cv-00374. The patents at issue relate to state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing and chip packaging technologies. Previously, KST acquired a portfolio of patents from a world-leading semiconductor company.
