L2 MOBILE TECHNOLOGIES WINS CLAIM CONSTRUCTION RULING IN DELAWARE COURT

L2 Mobile Technologies, LLC (L2MT), a Longhorn IP subsidiary, sweeps a decision in litigation pending in Delaware. In case no. 22-cv-01306, Judge Joshua D. Wolson, sitting by designation for the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, issued a decision on March 7, 2024, finding in L2MT’s favor on every claim construction issue presented by L2MT and the defendants, TCL Electronics Holdings Limited and associated companies (collectively “TCL”).

Specifically, Judge Wolson found in L2MT’s favor regarding three terms in dispute between U.S. Patent Numbers 8,173,913 (the ‘913 patent) and 8,054,777 (the ‘777 patent). Additionally, TCL argued that three different terms between the two patents rendered the respective claims invalid as indefinite. The Court, however, found that TCL failed to establish indefiniteness for any of those terms. L2MT is pleased with the Court’s ruling on these issues, further confirming the strength and validity of L2MT’s patent portfolio.
