HAMILCAR BARCA IP REACHES AGREEMENT WITH TSMC

Hamilcar Barca IP LLC (“Hamilcar”) has entered into a patent licensing agreement with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (“TSMC”) concerning Hamilcar’s patents. All terms of the agreement are confidential.

In 2021, Hamilcar Barca IP LLC, a Longhorn IP affiliate, acquired a portfolio of patents related to semiconductor design, semiconductor fabrication technologies as well as power saving and processor design techniques. The state-of-the-art technologies were developed and patented by Mediatek. Mediatek is a semiconductor company that provides chips for wireless communications, high-definition television, handheld mobile devices like smartphones and tablet computers, navigation systems, consumer multimedia products and digital subscriber line services as well as optical disc drives.
